Did you head that he is trying to get HBO to do a series based on Mystic Arts? That would be an awesome show on HBO and he said the first season would be based on the novel. Could be very cool if it turns out as good as the novel. The Hank Thompson trilogy is really good too if you are into crime/noir novels.Scotthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07485180803153354166noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5711195880526876235.post-85298485172388435022010-02-09T09:04:13.374-05:002010-02-09T09:04:13.374-05:00It would definitely be worth moving up in the to-r...It would definitely be worth moving up in the to-read pile. I still haven't gotten Mystic Arts, but I want to. Everything I've read by Huston so far hasn't disappointed. Too bad he is taking a year or two off from novel writing. The Mad Hatterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14135107584625716128noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5711195880526876235.post-30052541460058143932010-02-08T01:24:51.561-05:002010-02-08T01:24:51.561-05:00I got this book in my too read pile. Can't wait to read Sleepless.

Did you ever read Mystic Arts of Erasing all Signs of Death? That book is really good. Not really sci fi or anything just a good book. And The Shotgun Rule was really good too. Not really a noir or crime book but almost like a crazy coming of age book. I highly recommend both novels as they are very different but spectacular.Scotthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07485180803153354166noreply@blogger.com
