Well from what I can glean from my top postings of 2009 is people love Brent Weeks and Steampunk. Being linked to by Weeks probably didn't hurt at all either. It was interesting to see two very recent postings make it into the top ten that I think shows the growth of the site, which is quite heartening. Also, it was great to see The Magicians in there as I was one of the first bloggers to post a review that quite astutely pointed out the quibbles people ended up having with it.

Again this shows the power of Weeks. Jim Butcher Online and Facebook should have actually been combined since I found out his Facebook page linked to the cover and description posting I did, which caused a bit of a stir on his fan forums spanning 43 pages of comments over there. I decided to keep FB separate as a few other authors linked from there this year as well. Big thanks to James at Speculative Horizons who writes it as he sees it and Jeff at Fantasy Book News who is keeping us all abreast about eBook happenings with his great eReader experiments.
Incidentally this is my 199th post with it being the 1st in 2010, which means I was only two posts shy of 200 in 2009. Look for a giveaway to commemorate my 200th post in the next day or two.
